Normally I am not a sequins type of girl. Most of the time I feel like they either look cheap (as in nightclub dancer cheap) or like I’m trying to hard to draw attention. Blah. However – the one time of year I’ll make the exception is on New Year’s Eve!
What better way to ring in the new year with a little pizazz and shimmer. Check out some of these outfits below.

From the Limited - it comes with an organza skirt for a more formal look but I think the dress is so festive and refined
.

A more demure look, but still plenty of sparkle. If you have a winter "tan", you can totally pull off this look.
I like that this is a looser fit - leaves a little to the imagination! Also, the pattern is unique which I lovee.
- I love that this mixes up the materials – and the sequin pattern is so original. Perfect for a house party.
I’ve been on the hunt for a jacquard skirt that I wanted to wear to Christmas parties – and let me tell you, this has not been easy to find. More on this to come later on… I did find this skirt at Bloomingdale’s the other day on the sale rack, and I couldn’t resist. The website only has it in navy, but it’s a beautiful creamy color with gold and silver bead work.
